As proposed by the “Feed My Sheep” program, a $20,000 Walmart grant helped Kingdom Kids of Tampa Bay, Inc (KKTB) meet and far exceed our organizational goals.  We estimated that 9,800 meals would be provided, however, we almost doubled this goal by providing 18,307 meals.  Moreover, we proposed that we would serve 2,200 unduplicated persons, however we exceeded this goal by serving 5,225 unduplicated persons.  Most significantly, we increased our capacity to serve 72% more clients in 2013 than in the previous year.

We expanded our reach across Hillsborough County in ways we could only imagine.  In addition to providing breakfasts to Saturday School programs, we were able to meet a huge need, due to lack of funding, by providing a snack program at three Title I schools in the 33610 and 33612 zip codes, with a 95% to 98% poverty rate.  In total, we provided 5,225 snacks, during critical testing periods.  Additionally, we facilitated community food distributions at neighborhood pantries and ministries in the following zip codes: 33563, 33603, 33604, 33607, 33610, 33612, 33617, 33634.

2014 Annual Report – We served 18,307 meals in FY13!
